LuminAAC has no paywall, no trial that runs out, no ads and no premium tier for families. Schools and clinics that want professional tools help keep it free for everyone else.

Why LuminAAC exists

Built by a dad who refused to accept it.

I'm a single dad. My son is nonverbal. Not yet verbal, I like to say. When we went looking for a voice for him, we found two kinds: ones that boxed him into someone else's idea of what he should say, and ones that locked his words behind a subscription.

I couldn't accept either. So I built the app I wish we'd been handed: one that learns how he already communicates, keeps his words on our own devices, and never asks for a credit card.
